Fredericksburg Area Museum | Fredericksburg, Virginia

Subtitled Decorative Arts of the Rappahannock River Region, 1730–1860, this permanent, salon-style exhibit features the work of the artists and artisans working in the Fredericksburg area during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

A concurrent exhibit titled George Washington and the Masonic Tradition celebrates the first President’s membership in the local Masonic Lodge and the lodge’s rich collection of decorative and symbolic items, many created by the same artists and artisans featured in the adjoining British Heritage ~ American Style exhibit.
