Montpelier is the home of James and Dolley Madison. The Visitor Center project included an orientation space with an interactive site model and a time line chronicling James Madison’s lifetime. The Grills Gallery houses artifacts and documents telling the story of James and Dolley Madison, Montpelier, and Madison’s important role in the founding of the country.
The duPont Gallery tells the story of the duPont family’s tenure at Montpelier, through collected artifacts and images.
Design 3 provided comprehensive exhibit services for the entire project, including concept development, design development and, serving as general contractor, provided fabrication and installation management and supervision.
